During the last 7 years Mitra has worked with a leading international Entertainment, Design and Production Company called Area 51 who are based in the Midlands. As well as working as a specialist interactive performer, Mitra worked in the design and production side of the company and produced a wide array of weird and wonderful costumes and props for both large and small events such as Glastonbury festival and clients such as the celebrated Scissor Sisters pop band. This aspect of Mitra's creative practices is a constant source of inspiration and keeps her working with an amazingly diverse range of people, organisations and places internationally. In between her more fine art related creative activities Mitra is always keen to find time to go to the Area 51 workshop and work with the super talented creative team or be sent on wild performance missions in the UK and abroad.
