Nov 2006-07 Member of the AN+Air advisory group- representative for the West Midlands as part of an Artists Information Company initiative.

Sept-Dec 2005-‘After hours’ with Creative alliance, a 3 month artists’ business training program. (Creative Alliance, Birmingham)
2001-02 Freelance arts worker for Awaaz, Asian women’s training center.
Year 2000-02- Resident “Arts worker” with AMP (Arts and Media Projects) Sheffield. Mitra worked in collaboration with youth centers, organizations and galleries such as Site Gallery and Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.
